Apple and Honey Cookies

apple cookies

Here’s a quick, easy, minimal-mess and of course sweet-edible craft in honor of Rosh Hashanah. The store bought cookies I used resemble a black and white except they are all white. They are a great “blank slate” for creating other fun cookies as well.

You will need:

  • Small white iced cookies (I got these at Gourmet Glatt Bakery)

These are "white and white"  cookies instead of black and whites cookies. If they are not available, you can use the white part of a black and white cookie.

Directions:

  1. Cut cookies in half.
  2. Using the markers, draw pits and peel.
  3. Dip cookies into icing.
