One of the latest fads in girls/women's accessories are these funky buckle necklaces selling in hosiery stores from anywhere between $20 and $35. They didn't look too complicated to make, so I headed over to my local trimming store to purchase the materials I needed to construct my own. I couldn't get over the selection of the different colors, shapes and sizes of the buckles. While I was choosing my buckles, (ofcourse one for every outfit!) I noticed some oversized fun looking buttons, which I put into my basket as well. Next came the fun of choosing the colors of the leather strings. It didn't take long (or involve rocket science) to to put this together - and presto, for a few dollars I had put together the same exact necklace. Making a party? Looking for an easy, fun, and neat project? This is the perfect idea.
